September

September 9 - School Starts!!

September 21 & 24 - Skill level assessment of children

September 29 - Field Trip to Salem Hospital 10 am (CANCELLED BY HOSPITAL DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS OVER H1S1/SWINE FLU)

October

October 4 - 4-5:30 pm, Family Potluck at school.  Sign up sheet to be posted at school.  

October 8 - 10:30 am, Salem Fire visits school for Fire Prevention Week

October 12 - No School (Columbus Day)

October 15 - 10:00 am, Field Trip to Bauman Farms Pumpkin Patch, meet at Bauman Farms.  Directions will be available at school.  Fee is $5.00/person, please make checks payable to Bauman Farms & give to Julie. 

October 30 - Halloween Party, all children welcome.  Sign up sheets for food/party favor contributions will be posted at school.

November

November 9 or 16 (date to be determined) - No School (Veteran's Day)

November 10 - 10:00 am, Field Trip to Roth's Sunnyslope grocery store.  Meet at store.  No charge.

November 25 - Thanksgiving Feast at school.  All children welcome.  Sign up sheets for food contributions will be posted at school.

November 26-27 - No School (Thanksgiving Holiday)

December

December 18 - Christmas Party

December 24-January 3 - No School (Christmas Vacation)

January

January 4 - School Resumes

January 11, 12 - Skill level assessments of children.

January 18 - No School (Martin Luther King Day)

February

February 10 - Chinese New Year Party.  All children welcome.  Sign up sheets for food contributions/party favors will be posted at school.

February 12 - Valentine Party.  All children welcome.  Sign up sheets for food contributions/party favors will be posted at school. 

February 15 - No School (Presidents' Day)

February 25 - Field Trip to Humane Society.  Time and fees to be posted.

March

March 11 - Field Trip to Bauman Farms for garden plants, see animals.  Time and fees to be posted. 

March 17 - St. Patrick's Day Party.  All children welcome.  Sign up sheets for food contributions/party favors will be posted at school.

March 22-26 - No School (Spring Break Vacation)

April

April 2 - Easter Party.  All children welcome.  Sign up sheets for food contributions/party favors will be posted at school.

April 5/6 - Skill level assessments of children.

April 8/9 - Parent/teacher conferences, 9 a.m. or 10 a.m.  Sign up sheets will be posted. 

April 12 - No School (Easter)

April 22 - Earth Day Program

April 30 - Arbor Day, tree planting project

May

May 7 - Mothers' Day Brunch.  Time and sign up sheets for food contributions to be posted.

May 27 - End of Preschool Celebration at Riverfront Park

May 31 - No School (Memorial Day)

June

June 1 - Begin Summer Fun Summer Camp program
